Der Pianist Alexander Bonduryanski.

Born in 1945 in Kherson, Ukraine, Alexander Bonduryansky studied with Alexander Sokovnin at the State Conservatory of Music in Kishinev (Chișinău). He continued his piano and chamber music studies at Moscow Conservatory with Dmitri Bashkirov and Tatiana Gaidamovich. As a soloist and member of the Moscow Piano Trio he has performed in Russia and far beyond. He taught at the conservatories in Kishinev and Moscow, where he was professor of chamber music since 1995. He has accompanied more than 250 students to their graduation, including many now award-winning chamber music ensembles. Many of his students are now teachers themselves at Russian conservatories and abroad. Alexander Bonduryansky gives numerous master classes and is often a jury member at international competitions. In 1994 he was honoured as People's Artist of Russia. This year's chamber music course in Karlsruhe with students of Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatorium and Karlsruhe University focuses on chamber music and Lieder by Ludwig van Beethoven and Peter I. Tchaikovsky.

The final concerts will take place on November 18 and 20.
