Rie Hotta was born in Tottori, Japan. After completing her Bachelor's degree at the Tokyo University of Music, she studied at the Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz, graduating with a Master's degree in 2020. She has made numerous appearances as a soloist as well as in orchestras, ensembles, as a teacher and in various fields.
In 2021 she won third prize in the recital category of the 3rd Swiss Percussion Competition.
She is currently studying in the Soloist Examination programme with Prof. Isao Nakamura at the Karlsruhe University of Music.

Elisa Lázaro Hernando began playing the drums at the age of eight. After studying at the Arturo Soria Conservatory in Madrid, she moved to Rotterdam where she studied for her Bachelor's degree with Prof. Chris Leenders. During her studies at Codarts Rotterdam she learned not only classical percussion, but also Latin and African percussion, theatre and jazz vibraphone. After completing her bachelor's degree, she began her master's studies in Karlsruhe with Prof. Isao Nakamura.
