In response to the Corona Pandemic and the resulting precarious situation for many students, the internationally renowned Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation has decided to support financially distressed music students at state music academies in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Thanks to this initiative, the Karlsruhe University of Music can currently dispose of an additional funding amount of around 30,000 EUR, which will benefit particularly needy students. The University and especially the students are very grateful to the Ernst von Siemens Music Foundation for this. A university spokesperson said: "This is a good and important help which alleviates acute need and at the same time promotes the motivation of our students under difficult conditions".
