Daniel Freimuth

Daniel Freimuth was born in Reutlingen in 1994.
Studied music theory (Bachelor) with Prof. Michael Moriz at the University of Music Karlsruhe. Studied music theory (Master) with Prof. Dr. Ludwig Holtmeier and Prof. Hans Aerts at the Freiburg University of Music.
Piano studies (Bachelor) with Daniela Willimek at the University of Music Karlsruhe. Piano studies (Master Improvisation) with Prof. Helmut Lörscher at the Freiburg University of Music (ongoing).
Studied music education (state examination) with voice as principal subject at the University of Music Karlsruhe; Applied Piano (Angewandtes Klavierspiel) with Manfred Kratzer, jazz with Peter Lehel as well as important music pedagogical impulses from Prof. Dr. Johannes M. Walter.
Studied English language and literature at the University of Stuttgart (state examination).
Since winter semester 2022/23 academic assistant for music theory and aural training at the University of Music Karlsruhe, previously lecturer there since summer semester 2021.
In addition, teaching at the University of Music Würzburg in the subject of Applied Piano (Angewandtes Klavierspiel) since winter semester 2020/21.
Concert activity as a classical pianist and jazz pianist in Germany, Switzerland and France.
