Baden-Württemberg Scholarship
The Baden-Württemberg Scholarship is a model program unique in Germany, geared towards balanced international relationships; for every scholarship holder who goes abroad, a foreign student should be able to study in Baden-Württemberg. Students who receive these scholarships are always special ambassadors for their country abroad and have a wide range of opportunities for networking with one another even after completing studies abroad as Baden-Württemberg scholarship alumni.
Students enrolled at the Karlsruhe University of Music whose grades are good or excellent may apply for a stay abroad of 3 to 11 months.
Application Process
Registration deadline is April 30 for the next winter semester, or October 31 for the following year’s summer semester. Application is done online. After registering on the Internet portal of the Baden Württemberg Scholarship, for which access data is available from the International Office, the following documents should be uploaded in pdf form:
- Table format résumé
- Motivational letter
- Recommendation from a major subject instructor or institute director
- Proof of enrollment
- Proof of course of study and academic success (overview of grades)
- Proof of required language skills
