Anne Grappotte began playing the piano at the age of three. At the age of eleven, she entered the Paris Conservatory, where she was later appointed to the newly created chair of vocal accompaniment in 1977. Throughout her career, she has trained generations of pianists and singers who are now in prominent positions.
