Seit 2002 hat die Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe das Promotionsrecht.
Eine Promotion ist in den Fächern Musikinformatik, Musikjournalismus, Musikpädagogik und Musikwissenschaft möglich.
Ein Antrag ist an den Vorsitzenden des Promotionsausschusses zu richten.
