Bassist Daniel Pastewski studied singing at the Karlsruhe University of Music with Prof. Friedemann Röhlig and at the Institute for MusicTheater with Prof. Andrea Raabe. Already during his studies he performed at the Badisches Staatstheater. After completing his master's degree in 2017, he was engaged by the Stuttgart State Opera and the Prinzregententheater in Munich, among others. In the 2021/22 season, he will be a guest at Theater Chemnitz.

The Finnish pianist Anni Poikonen received her formative training in the lied class of Prof. Dr. h. c. Mitsuko Shirai and Prof. Hartmut Höll and in Finland with Aissa Bah. In addition to her soloist duties, chamber music work is especially close to her heart. Performances have taken her all over Europe.

Both artists discovered their love for chanson through the master classes of Daniel Fueter. Since then they have been performing successfully with various chanson programs. They made guest appearances at the Engadin Lied Festival and at the "Rising Stars!" festival. In 2015 they were awarded 1st prize at the Heinz Kunle Competition of the Freundeskreise der Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe for Chanson.
