Bella Voce

Competition of the Kulturfonds Baden e.V. "Bella Voce" decided

On April 15, 2023, the competition for arias and duets from the Italian and French opera repertoire from Romanticism to Verismo, announced by the Kulturfonds Baden e. V., took place at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe. Obligatory in it was a work by Jacques Offenbach. 

The following prizes were awarded:

Grand Prix
Yukari Fukui soprano

2nd prize
Maine Takeda soprano

3rd prize
Jasmin Etminan mezzo-soprano

Young Artist Award
Cláudia Pereira mezzo-soprano

Prize for the best piano accompaniment
Yuan Ma piano

The jury consisted of the following personalities:
Veronique Walter - Artistic Director of the Stuttgart State Opera
Günther Albers - Professor of Musical Direction of Vocal Classes, Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts
Louwrens Langevoort - Artistic Director of the Cologne Philharmonic Hall
Georg Fritzsch - General Music Director of the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe
Mathias Tritsch - President of the Kulturfonds Baden e. V.

The prize winners' concert will take place in the fall of 2023.
